Newspaper clippings and other media
Hundreds of news releases distributed while serving in media relations roles at University of Houston-Clear Lake. This includes, but is not limited to, a weekly column called the UHCL Notebook to the Neighborhood section of the Houston Chronicle as well as a UHCL Briefs column distributed to a variety of neighborhood newspapers.
Hard copy samples are available upon request. During my tenure, I wrote or oversaw the direction of more than 300 news releases per year distributed to multiple newspapers, including written copy for special sections or advertising inserts describing activities, celebrations and highlights of the university, faculty and students.
